島根県邑智郡邑南町で、石見養護学校の木工班の生徒たちとともに、地元で親しまれているオオサンショウウオをモチーフにした積み木を、地元産の木材を使って制作しました。
2017年から続くこの取り組みは、新しい命の誕生を祝い、手仕事の楽しさを分かち合い、地域や文化との遊び心あるつながりを育んでいます。
