アウトドアで、家庭で、そして緊急時まで幅広く活躍する多目的ウォータータンク。パンデミックをきっかけに高まった「自然や人とのつながりを取り戻す暮らし」への関心から、アウトドアで使える携帯型ウォータータンクのデザイン依頼を受けました。同時に、近年頻発する自然災害という社会的背景もあり、日常と非常時をつなぐ新しい可能性を見出しました。
そこで私たちは、独自の八角形デザインを採用したウォータータンクを開発。片手で回転できる人間工学的な形状により、さまざまな使用シーンに合わせて容易に調整できます。さらに二口構造を備え、防災用品の収納や内部の徹底的な清掃を可能にすることで、実用性と衛生面の両立を実現しました。自然の中で人々をつなぐ場面にも、日常生活の一部としても、そして予期せぬ緊急時にも、このタンクはあらゆる瞬間に寄り添います。
A multi-purpose water tank for outdoor enthusiasts, home use, and emergency situations.We were requested to design a portable water container for outdoor living and activities after becoming an increasingly popular trend during the pandemic, looking for reconnecting people with nature and with each other. At the same time, natural disasters have grown more frequent in recent years. Within this context, we saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between the everyday and the extraordinary.
With this mindset, we developed a uniquely octagonal water tank, designed for ergonomic, one-handed rotation, allowing for easy adjustments to suit various positions and uses. A double-mouth opening adds further versatility: it enables the storage of first-aid supplies and provides easy access for thorough cleaning, ensuring both practicality and hygiene at all times.It adapts to every moment: whether it's bringing nature lovers together under the open sky, integrating seamlessly into daily home life, or standing ready to meet unforeseen emergencies.
